The CARE Centre is one of the first provincially funded 'bridge training' initiatives.  It was designed to enable internationally educated nurses (IENs) to meet registration requirements and secure jobs as nurses in Ontario.  Since 2001, CARE has developed from a fledgling pilot project to a well-respect non-profit organization serving more than 1,400 IENs in the GTA as well as the Hamilton/Niagara region. Since its inception, CARE has worked closely and effectively with a broad range of agencies to invent, co-ordinate and deliver flexible client-focused education and support services.
