Orthopaedic Nursing

Orthopaedic nurses focus their care on individuals with neuro-muscular and skeletal challenges. These nurses are involved in the assessment and rehabilitation of mobility issues caused by deformity, injury or disease. Holistic care is utilized to assess, prevent, and resolve potential complications in a range of acute, long-term, and rehabilitation settings.

For registered nurses, the Canadian Nurses Association offers the following certification credential: ONC(C) - Orthopaedic Nursing Certified Canada
