Barb Mildon, RN, MN, CHE, CCHN(c)
Barb’s nursing experience includes clinical care, administration, education and research. She is now the Chief Nurse Executive and Vice President of Professional Practice & Integration at Fraser Health Authority in B.C. Barb is a Past President of the Community Health Nurses Association of Canada where she was a driving force in the development of national standards of practice for community health nurses, and the achievement of CNA certification for community health nurses. Barb has authored several publications and has made numerous presentations. She is an adjunct professor with the Faculty of Nursing, University of British Columbia and a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Service Executives. She is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto. Barb’s abiding joy is speaking and being with nurses and supporting and celebrating excellence in nursing practice.
